Bright Blox Ltd ("Brightblox", "we") runs brightblox.io. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the website and how we use it.

Who we are

What we collect

• Emails and messages you send us (by e-mail, Telegram or X): your name, contact details and anything you choose to include.
• Website analytics: we use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It records anonymous totals such as page views, referring sites and country.
• Server logs: our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the site.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not sell personal data.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to enquiries and discuss working together: legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract.
• To keep the website secure and working: legitimate interests.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations if you become a client: legal obligation.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months. Client records: 6 years after the engagement ends, for accounting and legal purposes.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the business (e-mail, hosting, analytics), under contract and only for these purposes. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on UK-approved safeguards such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, object to our use of it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. E-mail hello@brightblox.io. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
