Yellow: from a public raise to a token launch in four markets

How one go-to-market plan carried Yellow through a $1M raise on Republic, a multi-jurisdiction token launch and new communities in Korea, Turkey, Japan and Brazil.

Most crypto teams treat a raise, a token launch and market expansion as three separate projects, each with its own agency and its own story. Yellow ran them as one.

This work was led in-house by Brightblox founder Shyla Khan, as CMO of Yellow Group.

The brief

Yellow Group needed to raise publicly, launch a token across several jurisdictions and open new regional markets, all in the same stretch of time. The risk was the usual one: three campaigns telling three slightly different stories to the same investors, reporters and communities.

What we did

  • One narrative. A single positioning and investor story, written before any channel was switched on, and used everywhere from the raise page to regional community calls.
  • The raise. Go-to-market and investor narrative for a $1M public raise on Republic.
  • The token launch. A launch sequence planned across jurisdictions, so each market heard the right thing in the right order.
  • New markets. Communities launched in Korea, Turkey, Japan and Brazil, and a global ambassador programme of more than 700 members, built and run.

What carried over

The search numbers moved because the press, social and community work all pointed at the same story. Coverage gave people a reason to search for Yellow, and the site and regional channels gave them something consistent when they did.
